Vegetables> Beet> Irrigation

The soil should be kept sufficiently moist until the emergence of seedlings. A light irrigation is given soon after seed sowing to ensure good germination. Beet is grown without irrigation in rainy season where distribution of rainfall is uniform throughout the growing season. The crop should be irrigated at an interval of 4-5 days in summer and 10-12 days in winter.
